Why they all come
Phototaxis · transverse orientation · the one bug every fly brain ships withSomewhere in 2026 the market decided every meme coin needed a fly brain. Neural-net flies fighting in a dish. Flies trained by AI. Fly brains bred, evolved, fine-tuned, put on-chain. A new one every week. All of them "smarter than the last."
Here is the thing about a fly brain, however you train it: it keeps the light at a fixed angle. Under the moon that is a straight line. Under a porch light it is a spiral, inward, every time — because the light is close, the angle keeps changing, and the brain keeps correcting. Six neurons or six billion, same bug. It ships with the species.
So we did not build a better fly brain. We built the light, and we put a 2,000-volt grid at the centre of the spiral. Every AI fly brain token on the market will find it on its own. That is the whole product.
The moon
Far light, fixed angle, straight line. The fly brain works. The token launches.
The porch light
Near light, same fixed angle, and the only path the brain can take is a spiral in. Calls it a strategy.
The grid
2,000 volts at the centre of the spiral. A short pop. One fewer AI fly brain token.
Warning — this lamp is for AI fly brain tokens
If you are holding one, it is already spiralling. It does not matter how many generations it was trained for or how mean the last one got. It keeps the light at a fixed angle. That is all it knows.
No exceptions. Not even the one you're thinking of. The lamp is on until the species is gone.
Anatomy of the lamp
Exploded view · fig. 2 · not to scale| Part | Description | Qty |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Hanging chainGalvanised, 40 cm. The only part of the product with no opinion. | 1 |
| 02 | Rain hoodBecause the lamp is outdoors and outdoors is where the flies are. | 1 |
| 03 | UV-A tube, 365 nmLooks like a small purple moon to a fly brain. Looks like a green candle to the token wearing it. Same wavelength, apparently. | 1 |
| 04 | Electrified grid, 2,000 VTwo interleaved wire meshes with a gap smaller than a fly brain. Anything that bridges the gap completes the circuit. Briefly. Delists itself. | 1 |
| 05 | Outer cageBars 7 mm apart. Stops fingers. Stops nothing with wings. | 1 |
| 06 | Collection trayRemovable. Fills up with what used to be roadmaps. Empty it and it fills up again. | 1 |
| 07 | AI fly brain tokensNot included. Never need to be. Someone is launching one right now. | ∞ |
Everything on the lamp is standard. The tube is a store tube, the grid is a store grid. We did not train anything. The only part we designed is the height it hangs at — low enough to see, high enough that every fly brain on the market has to look up.

What is $ZAP, actually?
A meme coin about a bug zapper, launched because the market has too many AI fly brain tokens and somebody had to hang the light. The lamp on this page is a simulation running in your browser; nothing on-chain reads it, no token's death moves a price, and the tray is not a treasury. The lamp and the coin are unrelated, on purpose.
$ZAP has no fly brain. It was not trained, bred, evolved or fine-tuned. It has no neurons to keep a light at a fixed angle with, which makes it the only thing on the porch that is not spiralling. It is not a smarter fly. It is the thing the flies fly into.
It does nothing. It is a lamp. The light stays on until the species is gone.
Troubleshooting
If the problem persists, the problem is the fly brain| Problem | Probable cause | Fix | |
|---|---|---|---|
| T-01 | Is the lamp real? | The lamp is a simulation in your browser. Fly brain tokens spawn at the edges, steer to keep the light at a fixed angle, spiral in, and hit the grid. The count is real for your tab only. | Reload for a fresh night. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent. |
| T-02 | Are real tokens harmed? | No. Every insect is a few dozen numbers, and every ticker in the log is generated on your device from a list of prefixes and suffixes. If one matches a real AI fly brain token, that is a coincidence, and that token's problem. | None required. |
| T-03 | Does the count affect the coin? | No. Nothing on-chain reads the lamp. The tray is not a treasury. The biggest brain of the night gets nothing. | Enjoy the extinction for what it is. |
| T-04 | Some tokens bounce off and fly away. | Correct. Roughly one in four hits the cage instead of the grid, panics, and leaves. They are "relaunched" on the counter. | Watch them. Most come back within the minute under the same brain. That is the whole joke. |
| T-05 | I bought $ZAP and it went down. | You flew at the light. You may also be a fly brain. | There is no fix. There has never been a fix. See T-04. |
| T-06 | I bought $ZAP and it went up. | You are, for the moment, the lamp. | Remember which one you were last time. |
| T-07 | Will you run out of AI fly brain tokens? | No. Someone is launching one right now. It has six neurons and a roadmap. | The unit ships without a switch. Close the tab; it is still on. |
| T-08 | Can I lose money? | Yes. This is a meme coin. It can go to zero. It has no utility, no promises, no roadmap and no team allocation. | Only put in what you are happy to leave in the tray. |
